White Possum Coffee Liqueur

Unlike the hazelnut liqueur, the coffee aroma is very obvious here - this could be none other than a coffee-flavoured spirit. The coffee smells more like a classic Italian dark roast than fresh espresso. It's darker and nuttier with just a hint of candied orange. But there are no signs of oxidation (which can be a common problem in craft coffee liqueurs), so kudos to the team for that. The nuttiness carries through on the palate with a nice syrupy texture, and while there’s plenty of sweetness, it carries rather than overpowers the coffee. If you make an espresso martini with this, you won’t need any additional sugar, but make no mistake, it will do the trick with ease.
