Our Review
Rob Mann is a 6th-generation winemaker. He was previously estate director and chief winemaker at Cape Mentelle in Margaret River. Genevieve worked as a winemaker in her native South Africa, as well as France, California and South Australia before meeting Rob and moving to Margaret River in ’07 to be winemaker for Howard Park. They now have 5.5ha in Margaret River and the Swan Valley, planted to chenin blanc, tempranillo, malbec and cabernet sauvignon. Their estate-owned Rocket's vineyard produces some of the nation's finest examples of chenin blanc in the best vintages. -JAMES HALLIDAY
