Our Review
Little Yarra Wines is a family partnership between Ian, Pip and Matt Pattison and Pip's sister Mary Padbury. The Pattisons previously operated a vineyard and winery in the Macedon Ranges (Metcalfe Valley Wines), but could not resist buying the Little Yarra Wines property and its plantings of 0.6ha each of pinot noir and chardonnay. The quality of the grapes also allowed them to secure Dylan McMahon as winemaker, with input from Matt Pattison. -JAMES HALLIDAY
