Chrismont

Arnie and Jo Pizzini’s substantial vineyards in the Cheshunt and Whitfield areas of the upper King Valley have been planted to riesling, chardonnay, pinot gris, merlot, barbera, sagrantino, marzemino, arneis, prosecco, fiano, petit manseng, tempranillo, sangiovese and nebbiolo. The La Zona range ties in the Italian heritage of the Pizzinis and is part of the intense interest in all things Italian. A feature of the cellar door is the ‘floating’ deck over the vineyard, which has floor-to-ceiling glass looking out over the King Valley landscape. -JAMES HALLIDAY
