Enigma Variations

This is the venture of former Tarrington winemaker Tamara Irish who purchased a small property near Dunkeld, at the base of the Grampians mountain range. It is a small enterprise with an integrated farm system that involves the grazing of sheep, rare breed pigs and poultry, the vineyard planted to shiraz and chenin blanc. The wine-growing is as simple as possible, with limited use of pumps, no filtration or fining, minimal sulphur and biodynamic practises. -JAMES HALLIDAY
