Our Review
Domaine Dawnelle is a partnership between Michael O'Brien and Kylie Harrison. The name of the venture honours Michael's great-grandmother (and farm) in rural NSW. He studied at CSU, and is a qualified viticulturist and winemaker with 20 years' experience in mainland Australia, abroad and, more recently, Tasmania. As well as planting 1.2ha of vineyard overlooking the Derwent River, he manages the Tinderbox Vineyard, providing the partnership with grapes until the estate vineyard comes into full bearing. -JAMES HALLIDAY
