Our Review
Barry and Cathy Edwards moved from being grapegrowers with only 1 wine to a portfolio of impressive wines – with long-lived riesling of particular quality, closely attended by pinot noir – while continuing to sell most of their grapes. Craigow’s wines express the unique character of the Coal River region. Varieties are selected to suit the area’s growing conditions – they’re the same cool-climate European varieties that thrive in Burgundy, Alsace and the Loire Valley. -JAMES HALLIDAY
