St Hugo

South Australia | Barossa Valley

Our Review

A merger between Accolade Wines and the wine businesses under the Pernod Ricard umbrella in mid ‘24 gave St Hugo and Jacob’s Creek (see separate entry) a new home at Vinarchy. St Hugo has remained steadfast in its reputation for crafting big red wines of old, with a focus on full-bodied shiraz and cabernet, alongside riesling and chardonnay from the Eden Valley. The brand gained wider interest after a successful collaborative release of wines with former Formula One driver Daniel Ricciardo. The cellar door in Rowland’s Flat also boasts a 2-hatted restaurant. -KATRINA BUTLER
