Radburnd

Radburnd Cellars is a small family-owned winery established in '17 by Adelaide-born winemaker Kate Radburnd. From their beautiful new home in Hastings, which they moved to after Cyclone Gabrielle destroyed their original winery in February '23, Kate and her daughter Penelope make elegant, refined and ageworthy wines from some of Hawke’s Bay’s best vineyards in Mangatahi, the Bridge Pa Triangle, the old Ngaruroro River and the Dartmoor Valley. There are just three wines in the range – a chardonnay, a syrah, and a merlot cabernet blend – and production is small (around 2500 cases annually) although a second tier of wines, made solely by Penelope, will start being released from October '24.
