Rippon

New Zealand | Central Otago

Our Review

Established by Rolfe and Lois Mills in the early ’80s on the shores of Lake Wānaka, Rippon is one of Central Otago’s pioneering producers. Today, the biodynamic estate is helmed by their son, Nick Mills, the 4th-generation on the family’s breathtakingly beautiful farm. Rippon produces precise, detailed and site-driven wines – predominantly pinot noir, but also riesling, sauvignon blanc and osteiner – that are pure of fruit but defined by their structure and tannin articulation. -ANNA WEBSTER
