MGC The Melbourne Gin Company The European and Melbourne Supper Club Gin

Created for The European Group's 25th anniversary celebration, this gin is made with one thing in mind: martinis. The botanical profile does lend itself to the more briney end of the martini spectrum, but it hasn't shoehorned its way into only one style; this gin retains its versatility. With a ferocious juniper profile, it leans into the more woody, resinous side of juniper, deep and decadent. The maritime botanicals come forward more on the nose, and when mixed with soda/tonic, they're playful and intriguing; rather than turning the gin salty, they highlight the richness of the citrus and juniper—a powerfully driven gin, with an almost boastful juniper palate.
