Ambra Triple Sec

Triple Sec and other orange-flavoured liqueurs like curaçao are critical ingredients in classic cocktails like the margarita or mai tai. Ambra’s version has a natural orange hue and a soft nose of juicy, bright orange with a hint of rosemary herbaceousness and no sign of artificial flavouring. On the palate, there’s a good natural acidity rather than just sweetness, making it neither cloying nor unpleasant to sip neat. It’s almost a disservice to label this as a liqueur, because it drinks more like an aperitif. The lack of sugar and lightness of flavour might mean you need to bump it up a little in classic cocktails to achieve the same balance, but less sugar is always easier to deal with in cocktails than too much. This stands up well against most orange liqueurs as a standalone drink.
