Millsheds Distillery Southern Dry Gin

While this gin is bottled at a slightly lower abv, sitting at 39%, those enjoying spice-oriented gins will certainly get a kick out of this hearty spirit. Not shying away from deep, intense warming spices of allspice and nutmeg, it creates a comforting, enveloping nature. Oftentimes, when bottled at a lower abv, the juniper notes within a gin are not so easily perceived. However, the allspice and lemongrass work to bolster up the juniper and keep it present and relevant within the gin, playing into the resinous texture within the oils, as well as the slight ginger notes of juniper. Heavy use of citrus also helps to keep the gin energetic and lively, creating vivid clarity of botanicals.
